EU Agenda for Cities

The European Commission adopted the EU Agenda for Cities in December 2025. The agenda aims to streamline EU support for cities and enhance multi-level governance. It includes the establishment of the EU Cities Platform, which will bring together the various current forms of support, including initiatives, programmes, funding instruments, capacity building, technical assistance, knowledge resources, and digital tools. This will provide cities of all sizes with simplified access to EU support. Spatial Foresight has been contracted to assist with designing the external governance of the EU Cities Platform.
