Animation and development of Communities of Practice for Cohesion Policy

Good governance is a key condition for the implementation of EU Cohesion Policy. The European Commission’s DG REGIO supports this inter alia via its Peer-2-Peer and Communities of Practices initiatives. Both initiatives encourage the exchange of practices among practitioners implementing Cohesion Policy in Europe’s cities and regions.

Spatial Foresight, in cooperation with t33 (lead partner) and ÖIR, will facilitate the implementation and further development of the Communities of Practice. These communities are a key tool for capacity building on Cohesion Policy. Participants of the communities have the possibility to collectively explore and jointly think of ways to manage Cohesion Policy.
