The renovation of buildings is key to achieving climate neutrality. The EU strategy 'Renovation Wave' focuses on this. To support its implementation Spatial Foresight has been contracted together with ÖIR and t33 to conduct a study developing guidance on the Renovation Wave for local and regional implementation. The study will summarise the current state of the legal framework, illustrate relevant megatrends and will offer Member State specific access points for local and regional authorities. Member State fiches will also inspire ideas across Member States.
