Territorial strategies in Sweden

Sweden develops a national territorial instrument for sustainable urban development in the context of EU Cohesion Policy. The instrument is largely based on Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI).
In January 2023, eight projects were granted co-financing to develop territorial strategies. Boverket, the Swedish Board for Housing, Building and Planning, supports these projects with the series of workshops. The results of teh workshop shall also feed into a Swedish handbook on integrated territorial and urban strategies. Spatial Foresight supports Boverket in the development and moderation of the workshops.
