Resilience of Land and Maritime Space in the Baltic Sea Region

The ESPON project Baltic ReSeaLand explores how coastal regions, inland territories and maritime spaces can jointly prepare for and respond to climate change, geopolitical threats and socio-economic disruptions. The project develops evidence and practical recommendations to strengthen resilience across the Baltic Sea Region. Spatial Foresight contributes to the conceptual framework, policy analysis and assesses whether policy recommendations remain effective under changing future conditions, helping policymakers develop robust responses to tomorrow’s challenges. We work together with s.Pro sustainable projects (lead partner), IGSO PAS and SYKE.
